Timing is Everything
DO NOT leave buying your wedding dress to the last minute! Our bridal gowns can take up to 6 months to be made and delivered.Following delivery, you also need to take into account time for your alterations. As a rough guide, allow 9 weeks. We can provide you with details for an independent trusted bridal seamstress who will discuss the finer details with you. When coming to your appointment big 'bridget Jones' knickers are not the way to go, trust me! Just simple skin coloured seamless pants are best, if you don't have these for your appointment it is not the end of the world. We have been dressing brides for a long time and have seen an array of underwear so just wear what you are comfortable in. Also you will have a small platform to stand on to view each gown so no need to worry about bringing shoes with you yet.
Your wedding dress is an integral part of your big day and can help you make other decisions like which style or colour bridesmaid dresses to have or your flower arrangement for your bouquets.
We suggest you start to shop 12 months before your wedding date, However, if you're ready to buy it's never too early!
Appointments
Bridal Appointments - By appointment only, this allows us to give you the one to one attention you deserve. Our appointments are 90 minutes which gives us plenty of time to get to know you and your loved ones who you bring along, and more importantly enough time to try on lots of beautiful gowns. This isn't a high street shopping experience and our diary gets booked up so please always book in advance as we are unlikely to be free to help you if you just drop in.
Accessories Appointment - This is a 60 minute appointment for when your dress has arrived. This is our opportunity to jack you up with all the pretty things to complete your look!
Your Guests
Part of the fun is having your loved ones share your dress experience. However, too many opinions can be confusing for any bride! At Romsey Bridal Boutique we have two private dressing suites to cater for you and up to three special guests.
Price Range
When trying on each of our beautiful designer wedding dresses it can be very easy to get carried away, but, trying on a gown which is way out of your budget can be detrimental and lead to you being heartbroken if it is just out of reach financially. If you have a set budget please let your bridal consultant know in advance of trying a wedding dress on. We endeavour to find you the perfect dress within your budget limits. Our bridal gowns range from £1200 - £2500.
